The Healthcare Selection Inventory has been validated for five Job Families: Nursing, Patient Care, Entry-Level Service, Technical/Professional, and Administrative/Clerical.
Feedback Reports
Feedback reports and scoring norms are customized for each of the five Job Families.
Results are available on-site, and may be used immediately to conduct the interview.
The HSI Feedback Report is designed to provide individuals responsible for staffing decisions with:
An overview of the candidate’s potential for job success. Three scales are provided:- Overall Performance Index
- Retention Index
- Service Excellence Index
A Service and Values Scale measures nine core service and value attributes that have been identified as being critical to successful job performance in today’s competitive Healthcare Industry.
A Job Preview Matrix provides information on how well the interests of the candidate align with the work demands in today’s healthcare environment (i.e. work on call, weekends, etc.).
Custom Interview Questions are provided for low scores. This allows interviewers to probe potential problem areas in advance of the selection decision.
A Structured Behavioral Interview is tailored for each Job Family. It guides interviewers through a consistent, structured interview process.
Note: This portion of the feedback report may be customized for your Facility / System.
The Interviewer’s Toolkit provides extra interview questions, interviewer training, as well as tips and techniques to enhance the interview process.
